Brakes

It was decided that the front brakes would be upgraded to discs, the rear brakes would remain as drum brakes. In this section the means of stopping are upgrades and improved.

Depressing the foot pedal activates a “master” cylinder that drives fluid through copper pipes to the four wheel brakes. This actuates the “pad” which use friction to slow the vehicle.

The master cylinder has been refurbished, “hard” and ‘soft” lines replaced where required and the brakes fitted to axle hubs.
